RIDDLE ME THIS:

  1. Would you tell someone their grandfather died (six months ago) if the living person purposely avoided contact with the now-deceased?
  2. What if the situation were the same but the deceased was the person’s father?

My thoughts: It’s not my place to alert someone of something they didn’t ask for/purposely avoided, despite their genetic connection.
