Seconding (or thirding) it. Parkinson’s Law can be your tool or the tool used against you, but it will always rule. Setting Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as strict work evenings, with Sunday as leeway has allowed me to get a lot covered without worrying too much if I watch some movies while working on the weekend.
Parkinson’s Law is as real as it gets, yeah. I’m feeling it right now — I set a project deadline for Friday, and I’m not working all that hard because I know I can finish it by tomorrow.
I think I’m going to write an email saying, “It’ll be done tomorrow” and see if that helps.
