Rewatching this clip, it’s still as good as the first time I saw it.
It really is good. Trying to force a man to answer questions about a made-up scenario is laughable.
If you’re not going to bother watching the video then my message will be of zero use to you, but in watching it you should see a very distinct difference between what a well respected old journalist and a modern-era (for lack of better term) journalist. One man has knowledge and serious questions on his side, and the other is just trying to get shocking footage.
It’s going to be an incredible shame when the generation dies off, when there is no such thing left in political news but forcing viewers to ‘choose a side’ (as though there’s only two) over simply doing their own research and talking about it like adults.
I won’t ruin it too much, but the poor guy ends up looking like he’s going to cry. He got his card punched, professionally.
