Look, I am unabashadly crazy for almost every John Roderick composition, but this one especially drives me nuts these days. “Is this new move just to keep moving?”
Everyone. I think I posted this same track (Hindsight by The Long Winters) some months ago, or might have posted it elsewhere, but you need to get this into your ears and brains.
Also, everyone should have a favorite line or two in the song. Mine have always been “And if I hold you now will I be holding a snowball / when the season changes and I’m craving the sun?” - partially because his delivery is perfect and because I’m always a sucker for words on the changing nature of people’s wants.
